Does any one else agree that bow hunting cannot be matched by anything else? The challenge, the accuracy?

Question: Thank you jonnybe for understanding the concept, and what it means to be an ethical and accurate hunter! What does sex and football have to do with bow hunting? Some people! I have no problem with hand to hand combat, that is not the question is it genius? I also hunt with shotgun/rifle. I love hunting in general. I just happen to enjoy what I feel is the exceptional challenge with a bow. I find it easy to hit a target at 200 yds with a gun, I never made the comment about gun being less of a sport, I simply don't find it as challenging. I just upgraded from a PSE(awesome) to a Diamond (for my birthday) I shoot 55 lbs with 27 1/2" draw. I enjoy the 7 mag too. You know, I was trying to think positive about a sport I love that I cannot do because I broke my hand and they want to remove part of it, which means I may never pick my d**m bow up again. Thank for the wonderful answers! Just for the record I was raised and taught by an ex military special forces sniper.

Answer: Cheyenne - I know where you are comming from and I agree that it is an awsome challenge. In fact, it actaully gets a little too challenging to me sometimes, so I opt for a 30-30 and comfortable stand instead of my bow and a ground blind. I always try and take at least one deer a season by bow hunting while sitting on the ground . I've seen just some awesome sights out there and at times never able to get a shot due to my position, so I just had to sit and watch. Its actually taught me a lot about the deer and made me appreciate hunting and the outdoor experience even more. Hope the hand heals quickly!
